Masters Lite
The Masters Lite program is a laser based group for athletes (Aged 20+) who are looking to train for biathlon without using a .22 rifle. This program develops and advances their shooting abilities and prepares them to compete at local fun laser races. This program runs in combination with the Masters .22 program, but is only 1 session per week. We focus mainly on building shooting skills with some ski technique added in from time to time. Athletes should have some skate ski knowledge, registration in a ski program or ski lessons is recommended but not required. Competition options are currently a bit limited as Canada transitions its recreational athletes to laser rifles.
Eco-Aims optical (non firing) rifles are provided by the club and no ammunition or firearms permit is required. Athletes will be training alongside Masters who are firing .22 calibre rifles.
