Ever Wanted to Try Biathlon?

Challenge yourself to compete in biathlon, combining physical endurance and rifle marksmanship. No prior experience is necessary and all equipment and training will be provided by our athletes and coaching staff. Participants will be using an optical biathlon rifle (no live ammunition is used) and is perfectly safe.

This Fall, there are two different opportunities to try this out:

  • Oct 24, as part of the Coupe Skinouk Trail Run

    • The biathlon event starts after the run events have finished (~noon)

    • Format is run - shoot - run - shoot - run - shoot - run (4 running laps with 3 shooting bouts)

    • Cost: $20 ($10 if also registering for the run)

  • Nov 14, at our shooting range at Camp Fortune

    • Three different running course lengths are available, simply pick the one that matches your abilities. The format of the race is run - shoot - run - shoot - run - shoot - run (4 running laps with 3 shooting bouts).

    • 9:00am bib pickup

    • 9:30 learn how to use the rifles

    • 10:00 race start

    • Cost: $20 pre-registering ($25 day of event)
