Adventure Explorers U14
ABOUT
The Adventure Explorers U14 program is for youth aged 12-13 (as of Dec 31, 2026) who like being active, are keen skiers, know how to have fun and enjoy being outdoors with friends.
The program consists of two parts: i) dry-land activities and ii) ski sessions
Dry-land sessions
A perfect way to increase fitness, build strength, enjoy multiple activities, learn new skills and appreciate the outdoors with friends. Activities include: bushwhacking, games, trail running, orienteering, biking, climbing etc….A highlight is an overnight hiking trip in the fall.
Ski sessions
The on-snow sessions develop technique and endurance in classic, skate and backcountry skiing disciplines. Skiers are encouraged to be independent as they and their friends enjoy challenges across varied terrain.
Highlights include a weekend winter camping ski challenge, social time in cabins and an out of region ski trip.
Exchange
The Adventure Explorers participate in a cultural/sports exchange every other year with a group from another region in Canada. The next exchange will occur in the 2026-27 season. This exchange is organized by parents of the participating youth. To become involved contact programmanager@chelseanordiq.ca
