Intro/Rec Biathlon
ABOUT
The Intro/Rec program is for new or returning athletes aged 13 and older who are looking to either try biathlon or continue to train in biathlon at a recreational level. All athletes will train on laser/air rifles provided by the club. The program is designed to help develop and advance shooting abilities and is directed at those who are looking to train on a regular basis and perhaps compete at the local and provincial level (or not compete at all). This program is built around 1 session of live shooting per week at the range. Dry firing drills can be offered on demand. We ask that participants be enrolled in a ski program, (Nordic Race, Nordiq Adventure, XC Chelsea Masters, Adult Learn to ski program) or take regular lessons from a qualified ski instructor.
This program will use laser/air rifles that will be provided by the club as part of the program fee.
