Bunny Rabbits
ABOUT
The Bunny Rabbit program is designed to introduce children four and five years of age to the sport of cross-country skiing.
At Chelsea Nordiq, we offer a 9-week program in which children learn cross-country skiing basics through games and activities. Our focus is on offering a fun, positive experience in a small group setting. Volunteer parents and youth coaches enthusiastically guide the young skiers through their lessons.
A big highlight is the end of season Jamboree – fun activities, ski bumps and hot chocolate.
Please note: All families will be required to volunteer as a coach, parking attendant or hot chocolate duty. There will be a sign up sheet prior to the start of lessons.

The lessons start January 10, 2027 for nine Sundays in a row, concluding with the Jamboree.
Session times - choose one time slot that your child will attend each week:
1:00pm - 2:00pm or 2:45 - 3:45pm

All of the lessons for Bunny Rabbits take place at Larrimac Golf Course, 1148 Route 105, Chelsea.
It is strongly recommended to car pool to Larrimac as parking is limited.

Programs are coached by parent volunteer coaches with the addition of a youth coach when available. Training sessions will be offered to parents who help lead a group.

Classic skis (skins or scales recommended) and ski boots that fit the skis. No poles. Skis should be about the same length as the height of the child.

The cost of the 9-week program is $176.
Additionally, all registrants must pay for affiliation with the Provincial Ski Organization and Nordiq Canada ($36) and purchase a Family or Child Learn to Ski Individual Chelsea Nordiq Club Membership ($32 to $137).
