February is always a crazy time in the world of skiing. It is our peak season and we go nuts enjoying the snow. This news blogger was completely unable to report on all the excitement while it was happening because she was out there enjoying it herself. There was the Chelsea Nordiq Biathlon race on the Quebec Cup Biathlon circuit, Mont Orford for the nordic racers, the Cookie Race at Nakkertok as part of the NCD series, the Cookie Beiner hosted by Chelsea Nordiq for younger skiers and their families, the Gatineau Loppet, and let us not forget the awesome Chelsea Sprints run on the same race course as the World Cup Sprint races held at Jacques Cartier Park. Recently, the nordic racers were at Far Hills and the Jackrabbits held their annual Jamboree. And now some of the nordic race skiers are in Whitehorse at Nationals. Wow. Did I miss something? Let me know! And if you have a favourite picture from one of these events, please send it my way to web-coord[at]chelseanordiq.ca .
